At St. Andrew’s Episcopal School, we love and understand children, and we are dedicated to educating the whole child. As an Academic Support Team, we strive to support students, families, and parents as they navigate the academic journey with varied learning profiles. We meet each child where they are so that they can achieve their highest potential.

Our Process

Just as every child is unique, the process to support each student is individualized but we typically follow a general framework:

  • Parent/Teacher concerns and conversations
  • Observations/Recommendations from SAES Teachers & Support Team
  • Outside Assessments if needed
  • Plan of Action: create individual learning plans to provide goals and support in and out of the classroom

Support Capabilities

We currently support students with varied learning profiles that include ADHD, Dyslexia, High Functioning Autism Spectrum Disorders, Speech/Language Delays, Anxiety, OCD, Gifted and Talented, and Executive Functioning needs.
