Alexis Anderson writes a Prayer for St. Andrew’s School. This prayer continues to be used in Chapel services to this day.
DEAR LORD, GOD ABOVE, OUR FATHER AND PROTECTOR:
Bless Saint Andrew’s Episcopal School, and bless the children in it. Protect them as they grow up into men and women. Guide them to the light, and show them your way. You, Lord, are the Light and the Way. Bring happiness and joy to our wonderful school. In Jesus’ almighty and powerful Name, we pray. AMEN.
