The Parent Teacher Alliance of St. Andrew’s Episcopal School welcomes and includes all parents, grandparents, alumni, or alumni parents of all students who are or have attended SAES. Our philosophy is to build positive school spirit, nurture parent-to-parent, parent-to-school, parent-to-SAES Board, and parent-to-teacher relationships, help with special classroom and administrative needs on a volunteer basis, and raise funds in conjunction with school-wide development policies and programs.
There are many volunteer opportunities each year headed by the PTA board including:
Homeroom parents help to coordinate class snacks, celebrations, and outside-of-school activities for their child’s class. (Note: Homeroom parents are selected by the PTA. You will be contacted if chosen to be a Homeroom parent.)
Back to School Bronco Bash
Please join us as we welcome our families back to school with fun and fellowship! Volunteers will serve food or help with the different activities set up for family fun.
Grandparents & Special Friends Day
As we welcome our students’ families to campus, PTA parent volunteers will help to lead special friends to the student events, assist with check-in and check-out, and more.
Helping Hands for Teacher Support
If you would like to volunteer but need to do the work at home…this is the spot for you! Volunteers will make copies, cut, staple, and generally assist our wonderful teachers with their work materials.
Each day, PTA parent volunteers assist in the serving and delivery of our school lunches. Shifts are typically 1x a month.
To celebrate our wonderful teachers at SAES, PTA parent volunteers help coordinate special lunches, giveaways, and more throughout the year.
PTA parent volunteers may help run concession stands at home SAES athletic events, as well as sell tickets and Bronco spirit gear.
Fine Arts Night
As we celebrate our little artists, PTA parent volunteers will assist in leading families around our school exhibits, selling Bronco spirit gear, and more.
PTA parent volunteers coordinate on-site sale of our Bronco spirit gear at SAES athletic and school events.
PTA parent volunteers help to organize donated uniform items and ensure all are compliant with school dress code.
