GIVING
Give to St. Andrew’s
We recognize the past 70+ years of St. Andrew’s success is largely attributed to a generous and compassionate community of supporters like you. Supporting St. Andrew’s Episcopal School means you reassure the education and growth of our students both academically and spiritually while enhancing our mission as a whole.
Of course, gifts come in many forms. St. Andrew’s is pleased to accept gifts of any kind as they all have a profound impact on our institution. Together we can empower our children to strive in every way possible. For more information about how you can contribute to the St. Andrew’s mission, please contact our Head of School, Jessica Morris, at 806-376-9501.
Fund for Excellence
St. Andrew’s Fund for Excellence, the School’s sole fundraising campaign, provides opportunities for families and friends of the School to support the exceptional educational experiences we offer our students, parents, faculty, and staff. Your generosity helps recognize St. Andrew’s legacy of providing a solid educational foundation in a welcoming, inclusive, and Christian environment. Thank you for helping us deliver on the promise of our Mission and Vision for what education can be.
Tributes & Memorials
Tribute and memorial gifts are a meaningful way to honor someone special. Whether you’re celebrating a loved one, recognizing a teacher or friend, or remembering someone who has passed, your gift supports St. Andrew’s while creating a lasting legacy in their name. Gifts in your loved one’s honor or memory may be made at any time by clicking the button below and completing the online donation form. The individual you designate will receive a note letting them know a gift was made in their honor or in memory of their loved one.
While tribute and memorial gifts make a lasting impact, some families also choose to establish an annual award in their loved one’s honor. To discuss this special opportunity, please contact our Head of School, Jessica Morris. Below are a few of the memorial awards that are presented annually in honor of beloved members of the St. Andrew’s community.
-
As a student at St. Andrew’s Episcopal School, J.C. Burgess left a legacy of courage, dedication to others, and laughter that we all cherish, value, and respect. To honor these special gifts that J.C. shared enthusiastically with us, a 6th or 7th grade boy is recognized each year and awarded a scholarship of $1,250 for the following school year. This student exemplifies J.C.’s joy and sense of humor as well as his intelligence, integrity, courage, bravery, and, most of all, his inspiration to others.

This award pays tribute to Russ Duncan, a devoted SAES parent who passed away in 2022. He dedicated himself to the school, cheering on his three children and their friends, and ensuring everyone he encountered felt valued. To honor his legacy, the family initiated a fund to award $1000 to a faculty member who encourages and uplifts others in challenging times, serving as a source of inspiration for students and parents.
-
Alumna Courtney Smith Childers helped create this award for her friend - a classmate who was kind, compassionate, and positively impacted those around her. Amy was known as a girl who was respected and considered a leader but also a friend to everyone, considerate of other people’s feelings, and who went out of her way to build others up. This award is given annually to the 5th grade girl who best demonstrates the character traits outlined above.
-
In 2009, alumni and their families from the SAES Class of 2005 created a scholarship fund to honor their friend and classmate, Andrew Hernandez. Andrew had just finished his 2nd grade year here when he was tragically killed in a car accident. The Andrew Hernandez Scholarship is awarded to two 2nd grade students (a boy and a girl) who live out the mission of our School in his/her daily behavior through their dedication to academics excellence and service to others as well as their demonstration of the personal attributes for which Andrew is remembered; kindness, respect, and gentleness. Each recipient’s family receives a $500 scholarship award to be applied to the following year’s tuition.
-
This award is in honor of Christian, a former St. Andrew’s student who passed away in 1990 after leaving St. Andrew’s. It is presented to two middle school students who demonstrate positive attitudes, encourage others, display respect, and serve as exemplary role models for St. Andrews. They lead by example and uplift their team, whether on or off the field.

Caroline’s life embodied honor, service, leadership, and compassion. Her legacy was one of standing tall in her professional achievements, in her unwavering commitment to service, in her love for family, and in her ability to mentor and uplift others. She believed in breaking down barriers, strengthening those around her, and leading with integrity and heart. To honor and celebrate Caroline’s legacy - the legacy of a woman who lived with dignity, kindness, courage, and joy - the Smith and Woodburn families created the Caroline Woodburn Posture Queen/Kind Award.
The Posture Queen/King Award will be presented each year to a staffulty member who reflects these same qualities:
Honors and upholds the values of SAES
Serves with humility and Christian spirit
Demonstrates leadership and mentorship
Builds bridges and breaks down barriers
Supports and strengthens peers
